See how to make your own homemade pumpkin spice latte that tastes like the beloved Starbucks drink.
I love a good Pumpkin Spiced Latte. What girl doesn’t but I needed to make a healthier option that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. See my healthy homemade Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte below!
Pumpkin season is among us people!!! Yay!! I LOVE the fall! Like most, when I think of fall I think of all the beautiful colors, the fall trends and PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!
However, this fall I am being much more conscious about what I am putting into my body. . . So Starbucks and all the artificial crap was NOT going to cut it for me. Will I enjoy one every now and again. Well of course but on the daily? No. My gut and pocket can’t afford it. ha ha.
I did a little research online on how these tasty drinks are made, willingly made my self the taste tester for my concoctions and BOOM!! I did it and at home. Super quick. No running out the door and waiting in line. No artifical creamers. — I’ll totally rat myself out: I love the Coffee Mate Caramel Machiotto one, again live your life.
So, when you are feeling fancy and like a basic fall bitch. Try out my Healthier Homemade Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Pumpkin Spiced Latte
Ingredients
- 1 Cup STRONG brewed Coffee Or 2 shots of espresso
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- 2 Tbsp Pure Pumpkin Puree fresh or canned
- 1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tsp Pure Maple Syrup or 2-3 drops of Stevia
- 1 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Freshly Ground Nutmeg {Optional for garnish}
Instructions
-
In a small saucepan whisk Almond Milk, Pumpkin Puree, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Pure Vanilla Extract, and sweetener (if used) together. Bring to simmer, continue to whisk for about a minute. Transfer this mixture into a blender and mix for another minute to get milk mixture frothy. Then add coffee to the mixture in the blender and mix for an additional 20 seconds
-
Transfer to desired mug
You can alway froth additional milk or cream. I love this frother by hand or this one in it’s own container. Enjoy that Pumpkin Spiced Latte in your favorite mug (my fav fall mug) and garnish with nutmeg! Cuddle up in your favorite blanket {hopefully next to a fire}, cuddle the ones you love and enjoy your cup of pumpkin goodness!
Are you a basic fall girl? I totally am. I’d like to say that it’s when the first leaf falls but I start looking forward to fall in like JULY!

This looks like a great option! Love that it is lower sugar, but still all of the flavors!
Thanks Jennifer! That was my goal with it all. Glad that came through with the recipe. Hope you enjoy!!
This looks so yummy! I definitely want to try this, because I got a PSL at Starbucks last week and it was way to sugary for me…definitely need something a little healthier, but still with the fall flavor!
Thank you! It’s so true they are packed full of sugar. While they taste like fall, often times leave you feeling sluggish. No one wants that or a stomach ache! Let me know how you like it <3
