  • Why eating well matters for hunters and outdoor lovers. Our focus is High Protein and I mentioned to be better about using more of what you have in your freezer. Today I’m going to share meal ideas that are fantastic for quick & easy weeknight dinners or meal prep + some ideas for camping.
  • The struggle of balancing healthy eating with a busy lifestyle.

Quick Weeknight Wild Game Recipes

🦌 Venison Stir-Fry (15 Minutes) – A simple, flavorful meal with venison, veggies, and a quick sauce, served over rice or cauliflower rice.
🌶️ Wild Game Chili (Slow Cooker or Instant Pot) – Dump-and-go hearty chili packed with protein and fiber.
🍚 Tex-Mex Wild Turkey & Rice Bowl – A fast, high-protein meal with shredded turkey, black beans, tomatoes, and taco seasoning. Low-carb option: swap rice for shredded cabbage.
🥩 Elk or Venison Meatballs & Zoodles – A satisfying, low-carb twist on a classic, using zucchini noodles instead of pasta.
🥬Venison or Wild Turkey Lettuce Wraps – Think wild game meets PF Changs. These are healthy,  superflavorful & ready in 30 minutes – other recipe


Camping-Friendly Wild Game Meals

🔥 Foil Packet Venison & Veggies – No dishes, all flavor—venison, peppers, and potatoes (or cauliflower for low-carb) cooked over the fire.
🍢 Game Meat Kabobs – Skewers of elk, venison, or turkey with bell peppers and onions, mushrooms, grilled over an open flame.
🌯 Breakfast Burritos (Make-Ahead) – Scrambled eggs, venison sausage, and cheese wrapped in tortillas (or lettuce wraps for low-carb) for an easy, on-the-go meal.
🐟 Grilled Fish Tacos – Fresh-caught fish with a simple lime-cabbage slaw, perfect for campfire cooking.
