Warm Weather Recipes:
- Foil packets done at camp or on the smoker/grill – Fire & Smoke Seafood Monger Blend Seasoning
EASY CAMPING DINNER / Shrimp (or Chicken) & Veggie Foil Packets Recipe:
•Aspargus
•Red Pepper
•Yellow Pepper
• Mushrooms, sliced
•Drizzle with a little olive oil or spray
•Toss with YOUR FAVORITE Fin & Feather Rub/seasoning.
• Large Shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails-off. (Small are pictured, according to my 10 year old tasty but looks like grubs 😂)
Optional: a couple of tabs butter per packet when assembling. A squeeze of lemon juice when finished. Rice to serve with it!
Cook in your campfire coals until shrimp is done. About 15-25 minutes depending on your coals. EASY, DELICIOUS, QUICK & HEALHTY CAMPING MEAL.
NOTE: I make chicken thigh packets for those that don’t like shrimp. Just cut up your chicken thighs into strips or cubes for even cooking. It makes the most delicious drippings juice to mix your rice in 🤤) Tip: Use what veggies you have on hand or love. Zucchini and squash are also a favorite of ours.
